The online briefings will provide an opportunity to raise awareness of the guidance on the identification and management of sites contaminated by POPs, and to share information on its current status of work, on the process for updating the guidance, including the extended deadline for providing comments, and on remaining steps for its finalization.

The Directors of the 23 Regional centres have gathered at the 13th Annual joint meeting to enhance cooperation and coordination between the regional centres under the Basel and Stockholm conventions.
