Pre-meetings will take place online on 14 September 2022 in English only, from 13:00 to 16:00 (UTC+2).
The online pre-meetings will provide an early opportunity to introduce the key documents related to the technical work of the eighteenth meeting of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC-18), raise questions, and collect any comments. Participants are encouraged to actively participate in the pre-meetings so as to facilitate the preparations for, and the work during the POPRC-18.

In addition, an orientation webinar will be held for newly appointed members on 13 September 2022, from 13:00 to 14:00 (UTC+2).
At its tenth meeting, the Conference of the Parties appointed 17 members of the Committee to start their terms of office from 18 June 2022 to 4 May 2026. The orientation webinar will provide: (1) basic information on the process for reviewing chemicals proposed for listing under the Stockholm Convention, and (2) opportunity for sharing experience of members who have been in the Committee.
