In its decision SC-11/8, on the operation of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee, the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants appointed the 14 designated experts listed in the annex to that decision to serve as members of the Committee with terms of office from 5 May 2024 to 4 May 2028. The annex to the present note sets out a document on long-range environmental transport developed by the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee. This document is intended as a living document and, accordingly, may be periodically updated as necessary to continue to reflect the work, considerations and practices of the Committee. In decision POPRC-19/5, the Committee recommended that future evaluations of proposals for listing chemicals within the context of Article 8 of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants take into account the information in this document.
