Information requests for Parties and observers

Invitation to submit information specified in Annex E of the Stockholm Convention to the POPs Review Committee (deadline: 9 January 2009)

In accordance with paragraph 4 (a) of Article 8 of the Convention, the Committee decided, at its fourth meeting held from 13 to 17 October 2008 in Geneva, to invite Parties and observers to submit the Annex E information on Endosulfan proposed by European Community and its member States that are Parties to the Convention for listing in Annexes A, B, and/or C of the Convention in order to prepare a draft risk profile.

Please submit the required information with clear and precise references for each source of information to the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention, preferably by e-mail (ssc@pops.int).

A form is provided to facilitate the submission of required information. The deadline for submission in English is 9 January 2009, and in other UN official languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish and Russian) is 12 December 2008.
